10 Years – New TTRNO.com – First NOLA Track Day Sunday

It is 2012, the 10th year for The Transportation Revolution.  We have grown a lot from our humble Vespa New Orleans beginnings, and we hope to do the same in the second decade.

2011 was our best year in business, and we plan to grown even more in 2012.  In the second half of 2011 we added staff for the first time since 2009.  Shawn Collick joined us as a part-time service assistant over the summer, Nick Napoda joined in November as our Website Administrator & Designer, and Mike Ward joined us last month in our Parts & Accessory Department.

The first big announcement of 2012 is the launch of the new ttrno.com.  The new website usability is amazing with an accurate inventory of products and a mobile version as well.  The new site currently lists our entire motorcycle and scooter inventory as well as a full e-commerce store for apparel and gear.  Look for parts & accessory options on the website in the next few months.

Our next expansion for 2012 is the addition of our Motorbike Speed Shop at NOLA Motorsports Park.  Construction is underway on the interior of the shop, and we expect to be fully operational by late February.  Our Motorbike Speed Shop will offer track-side storage and valet services for your track bike. Our master techs can do a complete setup for your motorcycle and work with you like your own personal pit crew.  We will also offer basic maintenance, tire services and leather boot and glove rentals.  Customers can also relax in our lounge loft.  You can get a preview of our shop this Sunday at NOLA’s first public track day.  Click here to register.

In addition to these great additions to our TTRNO offering, New Orleans will be buzzing with 2-wheeled events in 2012. The Big Easy Weekender, New Orleans’ Annual Scooter Rally, returns in March, AMA Supercross returns to the Superdome, WERA Nationals and ARHMA club road racing make their New Orleans’ debut, and the biggest event of 2012 will be the AMA Pro Superbike Championship finale in New Orleans in October.

Once again thank each and everyone of your guys for a decade of support.  To reward that support we are launching the TTRNO Loyality Card Program.  More details in the next email.

Happy New Year & Who Dat!
